How to Export Bookmarks Data
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you share your bookmarks with us. Most browsers allow you to export your bookmarks as an HTML file, which you can then upload to our system. Follow the instructions below!
Export Your Bookmarks as an HTML File
The process varies slightly depending on your browser. Below are detailed instructions for the most popular ones:
For Google Chrome
Open Chrome.
Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
Go to Bookmarks > Bookmark Manager.
In the Bookmark Manager, click the three dots again (top-right).
Select “Export bookmarks”.
Choose a location on your computer to save the HTML file (it’ll be named something like bookmarks_[date].html).
For Brave
Open Brave.
Click the three lines in the top-right corner.
Go to Bookmarks > Bookmark Manager.
In the Bookmark Manager, click the three dots (top-right).
Select “Export bookmarks”.
Choose a location to save the HTML file.
For Microsoft Edge
Open Edge.
Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
Go to Favorites > Manage Favorites.
On the Favorites page, click the three dots again.
Select “Export favorites”.
Choose a location to save the HTML file.
For Mozilla Firefox
Open Firefox.
Click the three lines in the top-right corner.
Go to Library > Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks.
In the Library window, click “Import and Backup”.
Select “Export Bookmarks to HTML”.
Choose a location to save the HTML file.
Note: If you use a different browser (like Safari or Opera), look for an “Export Bookmarks” or “Export Favorites” option in the settings or bookmarks menu—it’s usually available!
Upload the File
Visit the SecondBrainDAO dashboard.
Select the “Bookmarks” option from the menu on the dashboard page.
Click “Start Contribution”
Locate your Bookmarks HTML file, and select it.
